Fort Lauderdale, FL, January 02, 2012– Matrix Z, LLC, in conjunction with the design team for the University of Miami Ibis House , recently completed the material and installation of their product brands SeaStone® and SeaTile® to the University of Miami’s President’s House. The project showcases a full range of Matrix Z’s trademark products SeaStone® and SeaTile® SeaStone®chosen for its EPA award winning and eco-friendly use of natural Florida fossil aggregates, is featured on both vertical and horizontal surfaces inside and out of the home. The interior and exterior applications of the SeaStone® product line make a creative statement without compromising the fragile coral reef ecosystems of the region. 

The SeaStone® products reveal the natural colors of ancient shells by exposing them in their own unique way on every single tile. In the entry foyer, mother of pearl and Florida fossil shell set in a deep, enhanced charcoal patina greets the President and visitors of the home. From the entryway, the mother of pearl and Florida fossil set in base colors of gray and white helps transition everyone through the halls to the living quarters. The intricate patterns and custom impressions of cut shell featured throughout the home exemplify a combination of natural beauty and elegant design.

SeaTile® A unique quartz based product composed of re-cycled granite; glass and Florida fossil shell is introduced as a unique complimentary design element for the swimming pool and further complimented in the counter tops in the cabanas and interiors.
